It’s that time of the year again, Christmas is upon us and the New Year is fast approaching. All Canadians have felt the pinch of these economic times and although Geo-Teck is no exception, because of the efforts of our dedicated staff and the patronage of our valued customers we too have persevered.

The bathroom and fireplace renovations at St. Joseph’s showroom are complete and we have, and continue to receive great reviews on the Kohler bathroom suite. Unique and creative fireplace units abound and we continue to make updates throughout the showroom to keep up with customers’ expectations and market trends.

The demand for geothermal systems continues to be strong due to government incentives, fuel costs and environmentally conscientious consumers, not only residentially, but commercially as well. Geo-Teck successfully completed a large drilled loop project at the new Goderich Town Hall. To provide more cost effective and timelier installs for our customers we have formed a new sister company ‘Loop-Teck’ that works together with Geo-Teck to provide premium geothermal installs. Loop-Teck is ready to take on additional excavating projects as well to assist our customers.

This past summer we had the best turn out ever for our July Open House. What drew the crowd…? our new customer loyalty program! Loyal customers are eligible for up to $2,000 off of their annual purchases. The lucky winner was Dawn Klaver of Kippen.

Our employee appreciation party was a huge success this year. A creative twist on ‘Survivor’ challenged all employees and their spouses/guests to some friendly competition. Teams competed against each other in sports, games, skill testing questions, even puzzle making! It was a memorable day and we could not have asked for better weather! Special thanks to those staff members involved in hosting and planning the activities!

As our company matures so too does its staff. A number of employees packed their children off to College or University this year. Up-coming weddings, and long term anniversaries with the company, will be celebrated. These special people make our company what it is. We work together, laugh together and make up a special family…The Geo-Teck family.
